Tasting & Consultations Menu & Pricing FAQ

Our Wedding Cake Menu consists of: Classic White, Classic Chocolate, Red Velvet or Carrot Cake and filled with a variety of fillings including mousse, preserves, buttercream, bavarian cream, ganache, and fresh fruit.  We ice it with our irresistible buttercream, smooth fondant, or Ganache.  Our buttercream has a light vanilla flavor with no filmy or greasy after taste.  We use one of the best quality fondant - smooth, not too sweet, and leaves no grainy or sugary after taste.  And of course, our Ganache is made with 100% Belgian Chocolate.

And like the rich lands and beauty of our surrounding areas, our cakes are made with only the freshest and best ingredients.  Each is beautifully decorated by our creative and skilled baker and decorator.  

Our buttercream cakes start at approximately $4/per slice and fondant cakes start at $6.50/per slice, though we charge by each cake and not by per slice.  We can mix and match just about any combination.  The cakes below are our popular wedding cake selection and a tribute to some of our favorite surrounding areas!  All cakes below are part of our Standard offering.  
  

The Carmel ~ this cake is as rich in flavor as Carmel is in art. A Chocolate Cake with smooth Raspberry preserve and Bavarian Cream.

The Lover’s Point ~ the perfect place where two different loves unite! White Cake with Belgian Chocolate Mousse. 

The Monterey ~ this cake is as classic as Monterey’s history. A Chocolate Cake with Belgian Chocolate Ganache and Belgian Chocolate Mousse.

The Watsonville ~ this cake’s flavor is what Watsonville is famous for! White Cake with Strawberry Preserve and Strawberry Mouse. 

The Capitola ~ this cake is a true reminder of sunny Capitola. A White Cake with Raspberry Preserve and Lemon Mousse. 

The Boardwalk ~ this cake is as simple and fun as the Boardwalk. A Chocolate Cake with Mocha Mousse. 

The Santa Cruz ~ this cake is as refreshing and unique as Santa Cruz. A White Cake with Mango Mousse. 

Carrot Cake ~ unlike any other! Carrot Cake made with carrots, pineapples, coconuts, almonds and filled with Bavarian Cream, Pineapple Preserve, or a Cream Cheese with almonds, pineapples, coconuts, and raisins. 

Red Velvet ~ a wedding cake collection is not complete without it. A Southern Classic with a hint of Europe! A Red Velvet Cake with White Belgian Chocolate Cream Cheese.

NOTE:  Above are all standard fillings for our wedding cakes.  Basic cakes are lower in price and include your choice of white or chocolate cake and choice of strawberry, lemon, raspberry or flavored butter cream filling.

Other Cake Flavors ~ above is a list of our most popular cake flavors.  We can and do offer more flavors than what is shown.  We can also custom mix non standard flavors.  For a custom mix, it's a $50 one time fee and we will custom make an 8" round cake fully decorated for you to take home and enjoy.  We do this to ensure that you will be absolutely happy with the flavor of the cake.    

Our Cupcake Menu also extends to our wedding collection.  A variety of flavors to choose and available in different decoration options.  We also offer the top tier round cakes to fit on the top of the cupcake stand.  Starting at just $1.25 each, cupcakes are a great option for brides and grooms on a budget. Cupcakes also compliments the more casual or luncheon weddings.

We can add florets, themed chocolate or fondant toppers, and even small photo cookies and chocolates to decorate the cupcakes. It is generally recommended to decorate on no more than 1/2 of the cupcakes in a set up.  The "white" space will allow your decorations to stand out.

Some flavors may be limited in decoration.  (Photo on right is the standard presentation of the different cupcake flavors.)  Our baker is happy to sit down with you to discuss more detailed decorations at a scheduled Tasting & Consultation.  

 
Sheet Cakes are a good way to reduce the overall cost of your wedding cake.  We make our sheet cakes the same as our wedding cakes - 4 layers of cake with 3 layers of filling - so that when it's served, all slices look like they came from the presentation cake.  Cost varies depending on pricing of your presentation cake:  $3.00/slice for presentation cake under $300.  $2.50 for presentation cake between $300 - $599.  $2.00/slice for presentation cake over $600.  Minimum 20 servings.

*To add additional edible topper decoration, add unit price to cupcake price.  Some cupcake flavors may be limited to decoration.  i.e.: PB&G is naturally a brown swirl so we wouldn't be able to color it to pink.
